Prices are listed as starting points and may vary based on a consultation, depending on factors like hair length, thickness, and the time or product required.

We use VISH, our advanced colour management system, to weigh all colour precisely. This means you’re charged only for the service and the exact amount of colour used, nothing more, nothing less!



Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, a patch test or skin test, is required at least 48 hours prior to any colour service if you have not had Aveda colour with us or another Aveda salon in the last 6 months.

  • We offer a complimentary dry off with all our hair colour services, unless either a blowdry or cut and finish is booked. A dry off will usually be carried out by one of our salon trainees and will ensure your hair is dry and smooth. If you would like a particular style, we recommend booking in a blowdry with one of our expert stylists.

  • Any cancellation or rescheduling made less than 24 hours before your appointment will result in a cancellation fee. The fee is 50% of the reserved services. If you are more than 30 minutes late for your appointment we may not be able to accommodate you, in this case the same cancellation fee will apply and we will do our very best to reschedule your appointment for another time that is convenient to you.

    We require a credit or debit card to hold your appointment and cancellation fees will be charged to the card on file. In the event of a true emergency the cancellation fee can be waived at the discretion of the manager.

  • Butchers Salon in Chester is open Tuesday 9-6pm, Wednesday 10am - 7pm, Thursday 9am - 7pm, Friday 9-6pm and Saturday 9am - 5pm.
